About the Course
Seneca Golf Course has been rated the sixth toughest course in Kentucky and voted “Best of Louisville” for several years running as well as Golf Digest “08-09 Best Places to Play”.This hilly course rolls through beautiful Seneca Park, with Bear Grass Creek winding its way among the numerous trees and fairways. Seneca is an 18 hole par 72 course with bent grass greens and zoysia grass fairways. The course offers a challenge for any level golfer with tees from 3792 yards to the championship tees of 7017 yards.
Seneca is not only a golf course for serious golfers but also a family course. Seneca has hosted several national events including the 1958 Derby City Open where Gary Player won his first American tournament. Seneca also played host to some Hooters Tour events from 1991 to 1997. Seneca boasts a fantastic putting green along with a newly renovated driving range.
